original tiddler in edit mode, drag and drop from the sidebar (the Open

That is a known problem. Editing fields of the same tiddler made the
tiddler refresh and thus the input field loose focus. Jeremy did some
amount of work to cope with that situation, but it seems this fails in some
situations. If possible, try to have the edit field in another tiddler
