Your #1 friend will be 127' of vertical(ish) wire (ie: inverted L) and a few
ground radial wires or better still 3-4 raised radials and a tall palm tree,
otherwise I am afraid you'll be sorely disappointed in any kind of short
compromise (loaded) antenna with summer (QRN) condx and QRP
Cheating goes back a long ways. It surely predates ham radio by eons.
I know personally, when I was on Sable Island in 1996 as CY0AA we got QSL
cards for impossible QSO's.
ie: 6m cards from the Netherlands when I worked NONE.

We see an announcement about "activity night" on Wednesday. (which borders

I have very little experience with them, however given your high noise level
and small(ish?) lot (not sure how large it is), would a few BOG's be a

What happens to your Inverted L's SWR curve if you short your other 160m
antenna (the 43'-T) to ground, or otherwise detune it somehow?..could be
you're onto something..not sure. Wide SWR's like that generally point to
huge ground losses.
