I'm working on a quick and dirty implementation of a balance control right now. Its just going to be available from a Touch menu, no webUI, no dedicated buttons on the IR remote, but you should be able to use the arrow keys on the remote to navigate the menus and virtually push the buttons. I

With the 7.5.0 r8673 firmware you have to connect to mysqueezebox.com to setup the controller. Did that phase happen? If you didn't see the screen about email and password for mysqueezebox.com then you most likely cannot make a connection to it. It might be a firewall issue. John S. --

John, Perhaps you can leverage one of the IR shortcuts that can be programmed? e.g. Holding down the 4 or the 6 to move balance left or right? -- pounce pounce's Profile:

[SlimDevices: Touch] Sending audio to USB DAC?

Can Touch support or potentially support a USB DAC? I'm seeing some references like snd_usb_audio that make me think it might be possible. I tried my iBasso D10 by just plugging it in and resetting the Touch and trying to play something, but no joy. That's as far as I got. Anyone have any

Potentially, yes, absolutely. Ask John Swenson, he's experimented with this. Basically what's required is editing the ALSA configuration on Touch to tell it to use the USB DAC. John noted that if you only make a simple config change, you need to be sure to keep your DAC plugged in (unplug it and
