If it is transcoded it informs you otherwise it presents the file format
as is .
Note that the transcoded to... Info is somewhat bogus , to see the real
rates you can use debug and see the settings in the log .

Thanks for the response. I'll continue to look around for how to ask
LMS what it is delivering.
Follow on question - what happens when LMS is feeding two touch's - one
with edo and 192 capable dac and one stock. I read somewhere that LMS
in that scenario would down-sample to lowest quality play

Where can I find what sample rate LMS is sending? If I purchase a dac
without a sample rate indicator, how do I confirm what sample rate the
dac is processing? Put differently, how do I know LMS is not
down-sampling? I don't think the touch can tell me. I assume LMS knows
what sample rate it is

I thought I would ask Beats Audio myself, so I e-mailed them and asked
about the Squeezebox integration.
*-Hey Kevin,
Thanks for following up. I'll pass on your feedback to our product team.
Please know that we would love to develop a Squeezebox integration,
it's just a matter of prioritizing res

I don't think Beats will just dump MOG subscribers either -- that would
make no sense. But continuing MOG services is not the same thing as
continuing MOG service
Hi there! Here is a little question. Maybe it has been answered already,
but unfortunately I can't find it.
Is there any possibility to store apps-files? Something like APK-files
for andorid phones?
The aim is, to backup apps and be able to restore them, even if the SBT
is offline, or if the App
Well the fact that beats bought MOG to be able to launch a streaming
service says to me there's likely to be at least a few common parts at
least in the background. Perhaps it may even be as simple as a
rebranding exercise with existing access still working. Complete
speculation on my part obvious

In my opinion, i do not think that the new Beats service will just dump
MOG subscribers and leave them high and dry. I just do not think that a
new service that is trying to establish respect and trust with new
subscribers would want to dump loyal long time existing MOG subscribers.
That would not
