..more info under track info on both the touch itself and the web-UI it tells you . If it is transcoded it informs you otherwise it presents the file format as is . Note that the transcoded to... Info is somewhat bogus , to see the real rates you can use debug and see the settings in the log . F

Thanks for the response. I'll continue to look around for how to ask LMS what it is delivering. Follow on question - what happens when LMS is feeding two touch's - one with edo and 192 capable dac and one stock. I read somewhere that LMS in that scenario would down-sample to lowest quality play

Where can I find what sample rate LMS is sending? If I purchase a dac without a sample rate indicator, how do I confirm what sample rate the dac is processing? Put differently, how do I know LMS is not down-sampling? I don't think the touch can tell me. I assume LMS knows what sample rate it is
