Also, the "millions" of listeners/subscribers to these services are listening on a computer or smart phone/pad app. Unfortunately, the networked music player at home is not the mainstream customer for these folks. On a smaller level I have the darnedest time explaining to smaller radio stations why their change to a web-imbedded player (with no stream option) is a bad idea for lots of us listeners. They really don't understand and seem to assume that everyone is listening to either website on computer or an app on smart thingie. Bigger companies like Pandora, Spotify, MOG, etc. are a bit more technically savvy, but not as much as you might think.
