Yes, doing some spot checking I concur that all the affected dates
listed are DST changeover dates. On those dates, there in fact is no

While logged into Ubuntu Desktop, if you hit the power button for one
second, it produces a menu similar to what I'm proposing for ctrl-alt-
delete.
Perhaps, as a quick fix, we can just point ctrl-alt-delete to that same
menu (produced by hit the power button). The only proposed option
missing
It should be possible to solve this by providing a '.desktop' file
containing entries for 'shutdown', 'logout', and 'reboot/restart'; and
then it's not a Unity dash issue.

4000. Basic gnome animations are slow, or better said, they always get at least

Just use the master branch of e2fsprogs; the pu branch is currently not
actually active, and when it is, it has experiments in it that might not
necessarily be ready for primetime.
The master branch should be good enough for both the inline data and
metadata checksum features.

should I say most of the cases?) applications that are already
installed. It shows those apps in 'More Suggestions' for installation,
though they're installed in the system.
