Expected behaviour:
Install ubuntu-keyboard, run maliit-server, click on place to enter text
-> keyboard shows up.
What happens:
Running maliit-server after installing ubuntu-keyboard-english in
terminal shows following error:
WARNING: void
You describe more precisely exactly the same as I am seeing, with just a single
screen.
Now, being a total Newbie to Linux, I thought initially it was pilot error.
I also need to use the Command Line commands, and after setting the
screen size, I used the GUI desktop "Terminal" to access the

I've tried to reproduce this bug with a current Ubuntu Xenial, by
adding:
sessionrequired pam_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel/ umask=0022
to /etc/pam.d/common-account and creating a new user without home
directory with adduser --no-create-home afterwards. I also added a file

I'm not the developer of PageHeader, but I had a look at the code, and
it seems that's the expected outcome.
When PageHeader.flickable is set, PageHeader adds its height to the
topMargin to ensure all the content is visible.
In your case, when PageHeader.flickable is set both PageHeader and you
@dbarth - so did someone run the exact same gl/egl call sequence on android and
prove that the behavior is not exhibited?

Indeed collapsing the side stage by the shadow on its left works. Also 3
finger tap. And I can even re-open by sliding from the right or 3 finger
tap. Sweet.
So this is rather a problem of discovery. I didn't realize that there
was a "handle" I could move and the black tutorial box only tells me
You can slide the side stage away by grabbing its left edge, or tap with
3 fingers. Is neither working for you?
We are missing a tutorial for these, that's for sure.

Once any app has been in the side stage there seems to be no way to close it
anymore as long as the device is in landscape orientation. Moving all of the
side staged apps back to the main stage or closing them will leave a black
screen behind telling how to use 3 fingers

Thanks for that. I too did apt operations on the new BQ Phablet and came
across that. I want to install tinc as only OpenVPN is available via the
tablet gui.
