Ahh sorry, misunderstood. Thought it was hanging on the subsequent boot
startup but it is on shutdown.
Okay so regardless of how serviio is starts, if it is running when a
shutdown/reboot is issued it hangs up shutdown.
I'll give it a try when I'm at my desktop in several hours.

This is a feature of the BQ phone HW as it removes the modem SIM interfaces
completely when entering flight mode.
The only option to work around this would be for ofono rild driver to cache the
sim pins when it detects a BQ phone HW and flightmode being activated and
automatically enter the PINs

When Ubuntu fails to boot, it will enter the recovery mode in GRUB2
which will disable the timeout, so it will stay on the GRUB menu and
will not proceed to boot the OS as the timeout is disactivated.
One workaround is to disable it so that the timeout doesn't get

Yes, I thought it would be more clear cause I can't change the title of
this bug. Once the patch is applied and updated meta-packages pushed
both bugs could be safely closed.

I have done repeated installs of 14.04 LTS and 15.04 on an HP Stream 11
notebooks.
