In Yakkety beta the date and time were moved farther away from each
other than before.
There's now an about 15px space between them on my machine, whereas the
gap between all other symbols is usually 12px.

The browser code attempts to create new windows at the same size as
their parent window. However the windows are always created in unity8 at
the size of the initial parent window, not the current size of the

is to get the command "browse" onto every ubuntu system. xdg-open is a

known memory corruption bug in mpg123
I just realized that the DHCPv6 failure that netplan's tests detect were
already known in xenial's networkd tests; these tests got marked as
"expected failure".
I started to backport individual networkd fixes, but this quickly became
a frankensoftware which has never been tested in that form, and
I removed the Xenial debdiff attached to this bug and I will re-do it
when current zfs-linux SRU for Xenial by cking will be completed.
Until then, the Yakkety debdiff is still fine and can be sponsored.

After some verification, I found out that cking uploaded a patch on Sept
26 on Xenial for another zfs-linux bug[1] using version
"0.6.5.6-0ubuntu13", which interfere with my debdiff.
"pull-lp-source" and "rmadison" didn't shown the existence of
"0.6.5.6-0ubuntu13".

are now showing up in resolv.conf (bogus.com is appended to the other

I think sensible-browser is obsolete and I'd like to see it go away.
Most things use mimetypes these days but it's the odd thing in the
Debian repositories that still uses sensible-browser that's annoying. As
far as I know, there is not a GUI way to configure the Debian
alternatives that

I understand this better now. networkd actually went to handling
DHCPv6/RA in userspace
(https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/3b015d40c19) so that it
actually *can* wait for IPv6 RA addresses -- if the kernel handles them,
it does not know what to expect.
In yakkety we let networkd do that,

crash with the initial pair, but would still refuse to play audio as
before. However, rebooting the headphones in the presence of the
computer and having them reestablish the pair automatically did cause a

Built in mic on laptop not working

When using high-speed 802.11ac wifi, status icon is not working
properly, most of the time I can't see wifi networks list after clicking
on the icon. I think it behaves like it was Ethernet.
At boot time I sometimes can see a "blank" wifi icon as if the signal
was very weak.
This bug has seen no activity for almost 6 years. Also, official
support for Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" has ended. If this issue is still
occurring on Ubuntu 16.04 "Xenial Xerus" please run ubuntu-bug to file a
new bug report so that we can get a fresh set of log files and system
info.

camera constantly refocuses
I have the same problem. After establishing the connection I can ping
all IP's, even the DNS server in the VPN network. But DNS resolve for
servers in the VPN network does not work. I have even set the DNS
servers IP and the domains to resolve in the network managers VPN
configuration (in IPv4
Same problem as arthur-b described here. I am on Lenovo Thinkpad T540p
and I cannot use external monitor after one of recent updates.

Sorry to hear that it still does not work for you. I imagine that this is
frustrating and at the same time please be patient. We are doing serious
commitment into improving the overall Bluetooth experience however it takes
time due to the complexity of the technology and variety of
I have just done some more test together with Alan Pope. Although I
first saw this happening on my M10FHD, Other devices also are affected:
popeys bq e4.5 and my N4 have similar drops in wifi download speeds when
paired with a bt device.
