Mmmm. It's good thing that I have the habit of not using javascript and
downloading the documents instead of viewing them on the browser.
I want to say that the theme is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

It also works like shit in my system.
I think it is a general problem. It happens when the browser blocks specific
sites.
It is bug and an important one. I'm going to report it.
So spyblock don't block adds that don't spy? Excellent because I have no
problem with ads that don't track.
Well, I realized that it doesn't block specific ads:
It blocks Urban's Terror adds on its website but it does not block ads on
google, startpage, ixquick... But it blocks the majority of them and blocks
most of the third party trackers (I've checked the list).
What a coincidence, we have been talking about that in code.trisquel
recently.
What it is happening is that there are no "tray" but an "indicator applet"

It is a problem that is currently being addressed, it has something to do

I can verify what Mr ST83 is saying: there are more people than you think

still true that Ruben does most of the work but he is not alone and there are

Thanks a lot Ruben
One thing: Emacs is brutal, the most powerful text editor I could ever dream
of. But it requires learning to be able to use a fraction of its potential. I
suggest you use html or CSS specific IDEs if you are in a hurry, if not, keep
using and learning Emacs, it deserves it.
There has been a lot of merge requests lately, and Ruben supervises every
contribution before accepting the code change so that is a probable reason,
another one could be that he is testing it to be sure.
Oh my, Icecactus is so funny. I cannot stop laughing for unknown reasons...
I'm just imagining a cactus in the middle of the snow :)
No sarcasm there, I really started laughing the moment I saw the comment.
Still find gnome fallback surprisingly good and easy to customize. It is now
my desktop of choice. I like the fact that it is compatible with unity's
indicator applications.
Yes, Ruben said that Orca couldn't read the name of the window so if someone
cannot see well, he/she would not know in which window/container he/she will
be in, and as you know, accessibility is one of the key points of Trisquel so
he didn't pick compiz as default.
Regarding what Dave_hunt
No, you can use Compiz with the default Trisquel Desktop, the reason why
Rubén changed to metacity is because compiz does not work well with Orca.
You can create your own Trisquel with compiz session. When I have time I will
create a script that will do so.
I suggest you use "sudo aptitude install" instead of "apt-get" because it
have been proven to be better at handling flags and dependencies.
Netbeans is good.
Under normal conditions I would recommend emacs but I have to admit that it
needs time to get used to.
Windows has libre programs but not many.
You have good taste Mr SuperTramp83 :)
What is that bar on the bottom?
I don't know more, sorry
That is because you have it already on the panel somewhere but you cannot see
it because it is empty.
I've tried to start the nm-applet manually but it didn't appear on the
original indicator.
Regarding the problem of the color, it all depends on the theme: the

Oh my! Searx is fast, very fast. I think I'll be using it as my default
search engine and see if the results are as good.
I've looked at preferences and they work similarly to ixquick's old days: you
can select what search engines to use.
I don't understand mozilla: on one hand, they decide to include anti-privacy

cookies enabled by default and on the other hand they are dropping http in
favor of the more secure https.

It reminded me a lot the Apple commercials. I don't know the impact the new

The licenses must be carefully reviewed in order to proceed.
Even if it was free as in freedom (we still don't know), another repository

Yes, the default desktop is very customizable: the same way one can create a
compiz session with de Trisquel desktop, one can create a combination with
other window managers like Trisquel + Xmonad.
Here's mine: a traditional layout with the compiz window manager like in the
old times. Gnome-fallback mode is being used, no Mate.
