there is a diy option in the #zipit irc channel ask hinv about buying one. http://mozzwald.com/zipitz2 got little pspmaps and navit working on it. hardware struggles with non-local route planning. pspmaps uses google for getting a route plan, so with wifi (non-free firmware or use free usb one.)

its using a standard bluetooth protocol for audio. so i would like to think the software is fairly robust. like plugging in a usb flash drive. check gnome settings for bluetooth. the pair it and in sound settings select it for output device/thingy.
