Metrics like this would be helpful for working out how much i should

its using a standard bluetooth protocol for audio. so i would like to
think the software is fairly robust. like plugging in a usb flash drive.
check gnome settings for bluetooth. the pair it and in sound settings
select it for output device/thingy.
