I think this is the first time I have heard her talk. Not sure if she is
more unlikable or more uninteresting.
The Late Show PR machine buried the lead; Donald Glover was the A-guest,
and with him the question is, is he more likable or more interesting?

Few arguments are simultaneously more passionate and arcane as those about
the US Census Race and Ethnicity questions. I have been involved in a lot
of these over the years, and will inhibit the impulse to get deep in those
weeds here. I will point out two things:
1. Nothing that you refer to

The music segments on the Colbert Late Show do use effects in the TV
presentation much more than...well I think anyone on late night, now or
certainly in the past.
That's maybe once or twice a month, but it's enough for me to notice a
difference.

Soledad has made some bad career decisions lately. This seems to be the

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Fox TV says it will air an O.J. Simpson special
including an unseen 2006 interview in which he theorizes about what
happened the night his ex-wife was murdered.
The two-hour special, with the provocative title "O.J.
I don’t think of Netflix as a talk show destination, no matter how many
they try to throw at me.
But they are cheaper to produce than a drama or a sitcom, so at least they
aren’t doing reality TV... that I’m aware of.

I can understand MTV-style tagging when the musical guest starts
performing, but why would the end tag carry some other artist's name?

If you're referring to MGMT's performance, I just assumed that tag was a
joke.
This link says it was a stylish choice.

On further research, I guess MGMT started a joke that they stole the song
from a Filipino band named Truefaith, but they actually collaborated with
them.

We are also enjoying the program , but have issues with the lighting as
well. The acting is superb (what a treasure JK Simmons is!) and we are
intrigued by the storyline, but we end up having to lower the room lights
to practically blackout conditions to be able to see the show.

Ugh. England struggled for 30 years to “light” videotape outdoors.

That should be 8 p.m. EDT. ("Spring forward" occurs early that
morning.)

Marc Maron's interview with Jennifer Lawrence dropped before Colbert
interviewed her. Lawrence confessed she is an oversharer when she drinks.
I'll bet Colbert knew that.

It's a good interview. I'd say give it a listen. Except Dave
Of this I have no doubt, especially since Colbert has done this before.
Usually when Colbert shares an adult beverage with a guest, the bottle and
glasses are right there behind the desk. For whatever reason - maybe it was
discussed pre-interview but not a sure thing - Colbert went to one of

Here’s how out of the demographic I am... I don’t consider Lawrence to

The word that springs to mind is Common. Common might be worse than bad,
