Hi,
I have a simple web project, but I need access to users favorites tweets.
Is this something we can do using Anywhere? All I can see is
favourites_count, but that's not enough for me...
Thanks!

Hi Support
I am using twitter goodies to show the recent tweets on my website.
But sometimes I dint get any response from twitter and hence was not
able to display anything on the website.
Is there any way I can handle such exceptions in twitter goodies?

I have an OAuth app (http://mowglii.com/itsy) and I'm getting errors
saying I'm limited to 75 requests per hour. Huh?
Due to the high amount of traffic we are seeing at the moment we have
needed to lower the rate limit to 75 to ensure Twitter remains
available to as wide an audience as possible. We are posting updates
as the situation develops on http://status.twitter.com.
Thanks for your patience.

Hey everyone,
We announced last week that we would be dynamically changing rate
limits and many of you noticed we have been doing that. There are many
techniques we've used and improvements we will continue to make to
deal with our capacity issues. Reducing the API rate-limit is not the

What is the easiest way to get the number of retweets for a given
tweet using the API? I'm trying to create a feed of popular tweets
from users for my Twitter site.
Thanks in advance,

This likely wasn't due to adding the source parameter. It was more
likely but due to a bug I had in the streaming OAuth implementation.
Java's URLEncoder converts spaes to '+' instead of '%20'. This got
fixed yesterday.

Given that Raffi told us that that Rate Limits would be going to 10X
by chirp -- it almost sounds like a joke now, but he definitely seemed
serious -- we designed features that were already constrained at 350
calls/hr.
Now at these dramatically lower limits, even with dynamic adjustments,

Is there a way to run a query returning Users around a particular

Or is the only way is to use the user/search method and filter out the
results set ?
I just finished building a jQuery-based Twitter plugin -
http://www.pay4tweet.com/pay4tweet_plugin.php . I couldn't find one
that allowed for all the customizations I wanted. The problem is that
now it's pretty complex. If anyone can find any problems with it (or
the demo page for that matter),
Our server are spread over a few IP adresses.
We are looking for the best solution to overcome the rate limite on
user/search method.
Is it to get whitelisting for multiple accounts and manage their rate
limit ?
As user/search requires authentification, does whitelisting IP address

This may have been lost in all the hubbub around the Chirp conference, but
we added logical AND to streaming track queries in mid-April. The

Isaiah,
I'm assuming your client is Kiwi, a desktop client. Are you interested in
participating in the User Streams beta test for desktop clients? User
Streams are not subject to the same rate limits that the rest of the API
must adhere to.
We're currently lining up clients to start the beta
A few updates:
Social graph changes (follows, unfollows, blocks, and unblocks) are now
immediately applied to a user stream without requiring a reconnect. For
example, if the user follows a new user, and that new user subsequently
tweets or initiates a social event, the tweet or event is
