[twsocket] Website hacked?
Hi, I just visited www.overbyte.be At this point my Firefox Popup-Blocker stopped a popup. Now when clicking on the ICS link on the left bar (under Products) I get a new window of some commercial site (e.g. a US Green Card lottery). I tried a few times and a new window pops up every time. I just visited www.overbyte.be At this point my Firefox Popup-Blocker stopped a popup. I see no pop-ups on the front page, there never have been pop-ups. Now when clicking on the ICS link on the left bar (under Products) I get a new window of some commercial site (e.g. a US Green Card lottery). I simply see a new ICS web page, no new window, no pop-up, no adverts. I'm using the latest Firefox. However Adblock Plus has blocked: http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js from the ICS pages, so if something is infected, it's Google. It's unfortunately that the ICS web pages are invested with horrible adverts, although I never see them due to Adblock. I also have: 127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com #[Google AdWords] in my HOSTS file, which comes from http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/ and which blocks thousands of other ads and porn sites. Re: [twsocket] Popup
Hi guys, I have seen the same pop up as well. I have seen them for a while as well. I was quite surprised when I first started seeing them. I use IE 8 and have like 3 popup blockers, but the popups still come up. Specifically, when I first load the site, popups try to load, but my blockers suppress them. Then, when I click on the Support link in the navigation links, a popup comes up, even though I have multiple blockers. How do they do that? Arrgggh. :( I just tested it again and the first time I loaded the site and selected Support, I got a popup with this URL: http://www.travian.us/?ad=10184_1073927120 I closed the browser, reloaded the site, clicked Support and got a popup with this URL: http://minisites.smsgameon.com/default.aspx?siteid=77877126source=zanoxpid =1231330922151062528 I noticed this a while back, but assumed it was excepted behavior. It's probably fixed now. If you miss the feature, take a look at the equivalent statcounter.com. I use it, and it's really a great service, showing only advertises at the statistics pages, that can be made public, or not. René Puyhaubert wrote: What do you means with all in one methods in : this type requires the AUTH command being issued, if you do not use the all in one methods. Is it one parameter of TSslFtpClient ? T(Ssl)FtpClient has special methods which combine multiple single FTP requests in one component method (search OverbyteIcsFtpCli.pas for HighLevel for details), for example method ConnectAsync internally calls ftpOpenAsync, ftpAuthAsync, ftpUserAsync, ftpPassAsync and ftpAccountAsync. So this includes the AUTH command _if required. My ftps server don't use Certificate validation. Could it be an explanation ? No, I do not think so. I can only connect this ftp with FileZilla, when I set the port to 990 and the protocol to FTPES : Ftp over explicit TSL/SSL. That sounds weird, port number 990 is the default port for implicit SSL. [twsocket] POST problems when working with WCF
Recently I was working on Silverlight/Delphi integration via SOAP services and I found a problem in HTTP Server component. When Silverlight issues SOAP POST, it does not terminate POST data with newline. (Same happens with WPF application and BasicHttpBinding so that's definitely a global .NET issue.) That causes problems with the THttpServer component because it reads HTTP request (including POST data) in line mode. Because terminating newline never appears, THttpConnection doesn't process POST data and it doesn't notice that client already sent all data it was supposed to send. My temporary fix was to switch line mode off in ProcessPost: hgAcceptData: begin FAcceptPostedData := TRUE; LineMode := false; //FAB end It looks like this fixes the problem. THttpServer is version 6.07, which is AFAIK the lattest.
