[twsocket] Website hacked?

2009-11-03 Thread Stefan Paege
Hi,

I just visited www.overbyte.be

At this point my Firefox Popup-Blocker stopped a popup.

Now when clicking on the ICS link on the left bar (under Products) I get
a new window of some commercial site (e.g. a US Green Card lottery).

I tried a few times and a new window pops up every time.

Intended or not?

I simply see a new ICS web page, no new window, no pop-up, no adverts.

I'm using the latest Firefox. However Adblock Plus has blocked:

It's unfortunately that the ICS web pages are invested with horrible

I also have:

one is gone, but the page still attemps to start a popup. Didn't know that

With NoScript you are able to allow scripts temporarily, however
that doesn't change anything, still no pop-ups.

Only the What's New box is empty? Wasn't there a java-applet?

Re: [twsocket] Popup

2009-11-03 Thread Hoby Smith
 Hi guys,
I have seen the same pop up as well.

I have seen them for a while as well. I was quite surprised when I first
started seeing them. I use IE 8 and have like 3 popup blockers, but the
popups still come up.

Specifically, when I first load the site, popups try to load, but my
blockers suppress them. Then, when I click on the Support link in the
navigation links, a popup comes up, even though I have multiple blockers.
How do they do that? Arrgggh. :(

I just tested it again and the first time I loaded the site and selected
Support, I got a popup with this URL:
http://www.travian.us/?ad=10184_1073927120

I closed the browser, reloaded the site, clicked Support and got a popup
with this URL:
http://minisites.smsgameon.com/default.aspx?siteid=77877126source=zanoxpid
=1231330922151062528

I noticed this a while back, but assumed it was excepted behavior. If it is
not, then it would be nice if they could go away? :)

Regards... Hoby

FTPES : Ftp over explicit TSL/SSL; port 990

You probably mean _implicit_ TLS/SSL; port 990.

In the demo select SSL Type sslTypeImplicit, and SSL Port 990.
With implicit TLS/SSL the control connection is initially
established as a secure SSL connection, hence command
Auth will fail, this command is only required with explicit SSL.

Select SSL Type sslTypeAuthTls or sslTypeAuthSsl for an
explicit TLS/SSL connection, this type requires the AUTH command
being issued, if you do not use the all in one methods.
Note that only sslTypeAuthTls is a RFC FTP SSL extension,
sslTypeAuthSsl is there for compatibility with some old servers
only. With explicit SSL/TLS (sslTypeAuthTls or sslTypeAuthSsl)
the control connection starts non-secured and can be switched into
a secure connection by issuing the Auth command.

Seems to be fine now, but previously it had a random behavior, not
always showing these pop-ups, so I can't say for sure.
Even so, I don't see nothing more in these pages that can cause it. It's
probably fixed now.
If you miss the feature, take a look at the equivalent statcounter.com.
I use it, and it's really a great service, showing only advertises at
the statistics pages, that can be made public, or not. Google analytics
is more complete, but not so easy to understand and work with.

T(Ssl)FtpClient has special methods which combine multiple single FTP
requests in one component method (search OverbyteIcsFtpCli.pas for
HighLevel for details), for example method ConnectAsync internally calls
ftpOpenAsync, ftpAuthAsync, ftpUserAsync, ftpPassAsync and ftpAccountAsync.
So this includes the AUTH command _if required.

My ftps server don't use Certificate validation.
Could it be an explanation ?

No, I do not think so.

I can only connect this ftp with FileZilla, when I set the port to
990 and the protocol to FTPES : Ftp over explicit TSL/SSL.

That sounds weird, port number 990 is the default port for implicit
SSL.

LastResponse was : '534 AUTH command is disabled.'

So you got a connection, right? Which SSL Type did you select in the
demo in this case?

[twsocket] POST problems when working with WCF

2009-11-03 Thread Primoz Gabrijelcic
Recently I was working on Silverlight/Delphi integration via SOAP
services and I found a problem in HTTP Server component.

When Silverlight issues SOAP POST, it does not terminate POST data
with newline. (Same happens with WPF application and BasicHttpBinding
so that's definitely a global .NET issue.)

That causes problems with the THttpServer component because it reads HTTP
request (including POST data) in line mode. Because terminating newline never
appears, THttpConnection doesn't process POST data and it doesn't notice that
client already sent all data it was supposed to send.

My temporary fix was to switch line mode off in ProcessPost:

hgAcceptData:
begin
FAcceptPostedData := TRUE;
LineMode := false; //FAB
end

It looks like this fixes the problem.

THttpServer is version 6.07, which is AFAIK the lattest.

[twsocket] TsslFtpClient

2009-11-03 Thread René Puyhaubert
Hi,

I want to connect to a secure ftp, with Ics component : TsslFtpClient
I have tested this connexion with demo program : OverbyteIcsFtpTst1
With any protocol ssl used, I have a connexion error at the Connect
command.
For example, with SsltypeAuthSsl, error is :
 AUTH SSL
 534 AUTH command is disabled.
Request 5 Done.
StatusCode = 534
LastResponse was : '534 AUTH command is disabled.'
Error = 534 (534 AUTH command is disabled.)
Command Failure

I can connect with FileZilla with parameters :

FTPES : Ftp over explicit TSL/SSL; port 990

I have not this protocol with Ics.

Is it possible to connect to this ftp server with Ics component :
TSslFtpClient ?

Thank you for your help ...

Re: [twsocket] Popup

2009-11-03 Thread Francois PIETTE

I have seen the same pop up as well.

I noticed this a while back, but assumed it was excepted behavior. If it
is

not, then it would be nice if they could go away? :)

It was not expected behaviour. Sorry for annoyance. I don't see the popup
here (only using IE7 popup blocker).

Google annonces is expected. This allows me to earn a little bit of money
everytime someone clicks on one of the annonces. I always hope many people
click on it :-)

I understood you correctly. All you need to do is to copy the necessary code
from httpprot to wsocket.

Or can you share your TWSocket unit that patched Http Proxy? I know
there have someone to do this. But I don't know where to download it.
