Ive had almost all versions from 1 to XE2, except 6 and those .net (8?).
Ported all my apps to XE2 and not looking back. Mostly looking forward to
Firemonkey support.

I have some old projects on D2006 that get tweaked from time to time.
Using V6? No major new development.
Anything new is now using XE.

And while I'm at it, I use Delphi 7 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with
16gig ram and have no plans at all to use Delphi XE. So count my vote as
keeping full support for Delphi 7. I just don't like the look and feel
of Delphi XE. I own it, but never use it.

in the API, I don't see a problem using old ICS with D2007 and new ICS

A lot of old Delphi 5 projects where I have ICS V5 but migrating towards
Delphi XE.

My customers (small and medium companies) all use Delphi 5, Delphi 7 and
Delphi 2007.
None of them use XE and they don't plan to pay a mountain of cash to migrate
in the forseable future.
