Sara,
You should look at the /etc/xinetd.d/telnet file. Make sure
that disabled is set to no (or commented out). You want to also look
for a line that says only_from and comment that out. Run
/etc/init.d/xinetd restart and you should be good.

Dianne,
In your SETPTR statement, if you specify the printer name as a
UNC printer (\\server\printer) then yes, you can print to a remote
printer on a separate server or workstation. The user that is sending
the print job needs to have permissions to print to the printer, but

From what I've found on HP's website and some other research on the net,

that we might be able to use Citrix to get the app to a Mac.
So, does Citrix have a Mac client? Does anyone have any war stories

Bill,
In Universe, you can put a UNC pathname directly into a VOC

key is to have ALLOWNFS in the uvconfig file set to 1. It will use each

We've had problems with 10.2 on Windows 2000. We installed it right

Our problems seem to be:

Inconsistencies between LISTU and uvlictool user

There are files at the root filesystem: /.uvhome /.unishared /.uvdlls
The spooler typically installs into: /usr/spool/uv
The spooler area could be moved elsewhere if you modify
uvhome/uvconfig
I think that might be it, including the files that start UV
