Re: [U2] NEWVERSION
This is not my experience. Check that it is not put in shared memory. Also double check the voc item is pointing to the right source code. Also check that the uniobject application is logging into the same account that you catalogued the program, I have seen programmers leave behind a redirection hard coded in the application or a divert to another account is occurring somewhere. I have even had dumb moments of actually logging into the wrong account at the end of the long day where we had multiple test environments and wondering why nothing had changed. Re: [U2] NEWVERSION
What about code which has been set in Universe, to lock itself in memory. I forget what that's called... I've only ever used it a few times because it's annoying and systems today are fast. You can recompile and catalog that code, but the system will continue to use the old version until it's reloaded to the shared memory area. -Original Message- From: Symeon Breen To: 'U2 Users List' Sent: Tue, Jan 3, 2012 11:49 am Subject: Re: [U2] NEWVERSION No That's fine - I understand if you recompile/catalog something, any existing essions will not get that code.
