So we do a full circle back to my original point
(BTW, if you go back and read my original post, there was no vendor names
mentioned).
What to do. Get the MIMO Channel and put up a cheap radio, and have the
spectrum available to you down the road for a hardware upgrade or go for
Right... if you're able to get them to do 1024qam, they'll come close to a SAF
at 256QAM, but the AF11 is far from the most efficient radio out there (the
only thing that I know of that's less efficient, excluding ancient stuff, is
probably the B11), but what they are is the cheapest
That was a fast change of position ?

The numbers don't feel "right".
My SIAEs do 436mbps per channel each way on 56HMZ and 1024QAM (tested).
So either the UBNT SISO number is piss poor for 1024QAM (687.9/2 = 343.95mbps)
or they are stating numbers for an 80MHZ channel (661mbps for SIAE 80MHZ at
1024 QAM).
It appears UBNT does not
They haven't achieved much more than 500 megabits real throughput in one
direction. They end up with a lot of bits on the floor.

That's the marketing aggregate number, divide by two for capacity in
each direction.

Yes. Their radio CAN NOT hear your radio, even if they were pointed
facing into each other. It's impossible.
