Right... if you're able to get them to do 1024qam, they'll come close to a SAF at 256QAM, but the AF11 is far from the most efficient radio out there (the only thing that I know of that's less efficient, excluding ancient stuff, is probably the B11), but what they are is the cheapest (excluding used stuff) 11ghz radio out there. And as long as you can do MIMO, they'll still get you better throughput than most of the cheap radios.
