This is on Edgy Beta, using a Thinkpad T60.
I can set the display brightness using the Fn keys on the keyboard,
however, as soon as I press the button to lower the brightness, it goes
down to 0%, not just down a bit. Same thing with the up key: it goes all
the way up instead

For some reason, libswt3.1-java installs swt.jar in /usr/lib/java
instead of /usr/share/java. Editing the makefile to make the change
gets rid of all the unable to import org.eclipse errors and only 8
unresolved method errors are left. (SWT.PaintItem, etc.)

Edgy Beta1: The screen is no longer distorted as in Dapper with nv

However, udev on my machine creates the printer as usblp[0-...]. There

Hm, sometimes it works and sometimes not but you always have to enable Auto
Spell Check for each Buddy and each time you close and start it again.
But I couldn't explain the grayed out button with new user. If I enable Auto
Spell Checking in context menu it works but the same problem like above.
Does it really freeze or is it just very slow?

It seems its an optional behavior which can be controlled within the
theme.
The bugzilla page about this bug is actually very interesting: all users
say its a bug, all develops say its a feature.
Perhaps this can be fixed this in the human-theme?

I've come across this bug in both 6.06 and 6.06.1 - I'm going to try
Edgy Beta now... but I'm guessing from the posts above that nm-applet is
going to have issues again.
