I'll give a dapper a go, I did briefly try it on my Wife's desktop but I
had some bizare problem with it not finding a repository for the rio500
- I suspect this might be something to do with the way it was upgraded
from breezy to dapper.

azureus is launched. The azureus splash screen comes up, and progress
bar hangs indefinitely at the point where it says Loading Images.

I don't know if there is a security problem.
Nautilus does not let to duplicate CDs, I have to install k3b but umount
/media/cdrom manually in order to let it duplicate. K3b fail unmounting
device.

one) but its not a beagle one from the looks of it. (although beagle
probably did call the function in glib sharp that caused the crash, it
looks like the crash actually occured in mono-jit code).

I'm not sure what you mean by have not received an update on it. To
my knowledge, I was not asked to update anything. This is still a bug
on Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS (dapper) with the latest updates and backports.
I don't know that I will upgrade to Edgy just yet in hopes that this has
been fixed.

Upon further investigation, it turns out that the InnoDB file format
must have changed causing the crashes once the system was upgraded. I
looked through the mysql change logs and did see a lot of changes to
InnoDB from 5.0.22 to 5.0.24a, but nothing that would indicate a file-
format change!
