Here it also does not work (Feisty). Feisty installs Python 2.5 as
standard Python version. When I run simple-backup-config under Python
2.4, it runs and saves the configuration.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using, and what soundconverter package
is this?
You can find the package information by typing dpkg -s soundconverter
.. What we're interested in is both the version and the architecture.

I have it working with WEP since Feisty Herd5 - that's when I started to
use Feisty. Not sure if I had to do something special. Maybe I set a
static connection, but I am not sure.
I can confirm the 3rd point and it is really annoying. I think Network
Manager is not ready for Feisty. It's a step
I have also been experiencing what seems to be x.org crashes. Maybe due
to the experimental nature of the driver . See bug #104223 for details.
Please lemme know if any more info. is needed.

xf86-video-intel 1.9.91 (2.0 RC1) is out, and would be nice to have as the
source for the
Timo, I am not experiencing a crash but usplash does not play well. That
might well have to do with the experimental driver I am using . See bug
#90213 for details. Perhaps the driver needs more work or more test-
cases.

Feisty crashes after grub if usplash enabled (amd64)
Wish I could edit. Does not play well, in the sense usplash crashes, not
feisty. Have to use HDD to monitor what is happening both while starting
as well as shutting down.
