I chose disable and then enable the network in order to get me NM ask for

Yes, it DOES need to be installed by default. My HP PSC 1610 was not
automatically detected by HPLIP because this was not automatically
installed. And it's also not just a Kubuntu thing. I'm using Ubuntu.
Pascal, CUPS may have been able to figure out my printer, but HPLIP is
another thing
confirmed of Feisty.
even though removing the files in .azureus/logs makes it possible to
start, it does crash soon after.

I'm glad to say that today's Feisty daily build disc works 'out of the
box' with my Wacom Graphire tablet, both in Live CD and installed modes.
No need to edit or download anything, it just works as it should.

documentation (/usr/share/doc/util-linux/README.Debian.hwclock) in its
