I can confirm this bug. It's not because of the CD. What happened to me:
I have an old toshiba laptop with no network cards. Everhthing runs well until
the installation and configuration of anthy: It freezed here. I've rechecked
after 8 hours and it was still here. The message in the log was

Yep, I agree that this is a problem. I spent about an hour trying to work out
why it wouldn't start. Running
/etc/init.d/apache2 start
does nothing, outputs nothing, and returns success. Also the comment in the
