I believe the problem cited here is the same or similar to what I experienced
by updating a Feisty system.
In essence, the update overwrote the "Share Printers" setting in Global

I've tried all the old drivers and the new beta and still had lockups.
I noticed that one of my network cards would die when it happened.
/proc/interrupts showed nvidia and eth1 sharing the same IRQ. Since
moving the NIC to another slot it hasn't locked up yet (several days
now).

Same here with a Intel 4965AGN within a HP2710p notebook on gutsy
version 2.6.22-14-generic. No chance to bring it to work with WPA
encryption.

The bug still is present in Gutsy 7.10! Printing multiple copies is only
possible via 'system-administration-printing' menu. It prints the number
set there, regardless of the number set in the printingmenu showed from
the 'file-print'-dialog opened from the openoffice.org menu!

I have been having the same issue. PDF's made by scanning (11X17) will
not print through Evince or acroread. I can print them using LPR, but
only 1/2 of the page prints on 11X17. I also can't print images from
EOG. I am running gusty on a turion 64X2 laptop.
