In the Karmic Alpha 3 Live CD, I can't mount an encrypted partition with
nautilus, because cryptsetup is not installed. I have to go to command line and
install it with

Wanted to add that is an issue with vanilla karmic Ubuntu alpha 3 as
well for some while now. At the set screensaver start time, screen fades
to black as if about to start the screensaver, then immediately returns
to full display.

I am not a Arabic expert but i have some informations:
In memory a Arabic word is as usual Stand alone letter separated by a space.
But on screen a word is letters ligatured. We cannot read a text who use
stand alone letters as other language. In a Linux machine the job is done by
pango who
Sorry, I also forgot the expected outcome.
The expected outcome is, of course, that opening multimedia files under
linux-image-2.6.24-24-generic should not freeze the machine or cause
other problems with the players.
