Yes, still seeing this in Karmic, 64-bit. Getting 3-4MB/s maximum
transfer rates when using Nautilus to copy the files to a remote server
on the same LAN segment. The very strange bit is that I can sending
multiple files at the same time through Nautilus results in each
transfer reaching the 3-4MB

The watershed + cryptsetup packages from -proposed fixed the problem for
me, but for my /home partition to be decrypted/mounted, itasks me for my
password 3 times every time. The root partition only asks once, and
then the /home asks me 3 times every time.
I have / encrypted, /home encrypted, and
/usr/share/desktop-directories/KidsGames.directory has the following
Icon set:
Icon=gnome-amusements
I can confirm that the Humanity theme has no such icon.

Hello Teej I tried to test it but after I did the upgrade to Lucid all
my network interfaces were shutdown and I was not able to brig it up,
cause the kernel does not seem to recognize it. I'm using an older
kernel now, will still the info be valuable with an older kernel???...

Sorry, it seems I misremembered. With the drm renderer enabled,
i915.modeset=0 also causes plymouth to fail to show up. With the drm
renderer excluded from the initramfs, but without passing
i915.modeset=0, splash screen appears correctly.
The net conclusion seems to be the same: the frambuffer

over a perfiod of few days (none required reboot, so I decided to reboot only
now).

I've found my machine unlocked a number of times, when I expected it to
be safely locked away. As it turns out, this is the culprit, I've been
telling my machine to lock and it hasn't happened.

in /usr/lib/ubiquity that is prepended to the path, and might
consequentially cause some problems for -kernel-source packages

After I upgraded to Karmic when it was released I had a lot of options
for my surround sound (USB Sound Card) including several 4.1 and 5.1
options, at some point in the past couple months these options have gone
away and I can no longer get 4.
Please also confirm the file /etc/init/network-interface.conf is present
on your system.
