A cursory test showed rotation working on the Dell Latitude XT with the
10.04 release.
The RS600 in the Dell does not work with KMS; at least I'm back to where

I think the suggested fix in comment #8 is absolutely evil. The
intentions are well-placed but the results of using that work-around are
evil and I believe lead to the sort of issues reported in bug #543506.

In the Appearance Preferences -> Customize Theme -> Pointer dialog,
mouse pointers like DMZ (White) or DMZ (Black) allow the pointer size to

Add " tsched=0" to the following line:

The command used to calll for creating the persistant file differs from
the message string. This can confuse users who may be attempting to
debug the application. We should be consistent with the text and the
command. Possible solution is to change the string to exclude anything
about ext2/3 or cha
