I can confirm on dell xps 1530 with nvidia 8600m GT, lucid and 256
series driver.
This just happen with an external monitor attached, powermizer is locked

After running an update to a new kernel I got an error about packacge

It occurs to me that it would be useful if I submitted output from mm-
test.py when the modem is working:

Config files that get deleted on purge are those stored below the /etc
directory.
