After some time of using Cairo-dock after the upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 I
have issues that freeze my screen.
I have had several times a complete hang of my PC.
In some cases I could ctrl+alt+f1 to get to a terminal.
Top showed compiz running at 100% cpu.
It seems to be a cairo/compiz issue.
LOSAs gracefulled our SCA frontends at 2011-05-03 08:06UTC which forced
sca to create a new LP api service connection. Purchasing is now working
as expected (I just purchased Monster RPG).

I use eclipse (helios 3.6.2, java EE) most of the time, the window is maximized

My primary hard drive is starting to fail, with a separate partition
picking up bad sectors. So I have gotten a new hard drive and started
transferring data from the old one over. For a few reasons I did not
want to copy my entire home

To install ppa-purge, open a terminal and run:
$ sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
Then to revert xorg run:
$ sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers
To revert libdrm-nouveau1 run:
$ sudo apt-get install libdrm-nouveau1=2.4.21-1ubuntu2.1

I have the same issue. It affects Toshiba Portege R830 model.
After many tries with s2ram and memory_corruption_check_size options
(all of them resulted the same: blank screen, noisy fans and lack of any
response).
To highlight the situation I tried to suspend only from console with
501 - 600 of 3985 matches
