Yup, this bug very much looks like it's hardware specific. I definitely
can't reproduce this on my own systems, but I also don't have one that
runs with the ipw2200 or ipw2100 drivers.
I'll try to get to the hardware lab tomorrow and test this more
thoroughly on hardware that uses this driver.
Marking as affecting linux since this is hardware specific and
NetworkManager itself doesn't really handle the devices differently.
Seems like there may be an issue with how the wireless device's or AP's
capabilities are being reported.
