frustration I hammered cntrl+N in firefox and the first 15 windows
appeared minimised but subsequent ones appeared normally. After
deleting all the minimised windows command line, panel and ctrl-N

This is happening to me for the first time in Kubuntu 13.04. However in
a laptop with the same distro version Libreoffice is working fine. A
package that seems related to this issue is javaldx, because when I try
to open any libreoffice instance, this package stays in memory and seems
to do nothing
Is this fixed in 13.04? If so, I'll upgrade (despite other showstoppers like
bug #1075923).
Alternatively, will installing LO 4 solve the issue?
Or, will there be an official update on 12.10 (for LO 3.6)?

I see the same exact behavior as timothee.
If I unminimize the window before clicking a link in another app, no
problems. It's the 'unminimize as a result of being called up by another
app' behavior that triggers the bug.
I also see this with thunderbird if it is minimized and I click a

copy the psm
I tried the same with "ubuntu-gnome-13.04-desktop-i386" bootet from USB-
Stick. I did not even manage to install anything.
My machine is:
MSI MS-7641/880GMA-E35(FX) (MS-7641), BIOS V11.0 06/03/2011
AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 260
4G Ram
Nvidia GTS 450/PCI/SSE2

use the Lenovo's mini display port to attach a new Dell TFT display

I have the same bug for all the web apps. When I try to open them, they open up
as an Untitled Chromium window with no address bar and menu bar.
Also, they stack up as multiple windows.
But the main chromium browser icon is still separate. Only the web apps
are together.
