I would assume it is the update-manager which calculates/displays the
progress, so I have marked that as also affected.
I *think* it is supposed to display the lowest applicable unit when
displaying the amount downloaded. I've seen the downloaded count switch
from kB til MB
Well, I understand that Ubuntu 11.10 has expired, but *has the bug been
fixed*? That's the important thing. Otherwise other people will still
come up against it, and not be able to install Ubuntu.

While this has been fixed upstream, it doesn't look like there's been a
new release of apt-mirror, so this issue is still present. However,
while waiting for the new release, it might be possibly to simply apply
the patch in the meantime.
Btw, I found a corresponding bug
For me, it occurs always when using rectangular selection. But gnome-
screenshot does not hang, it continues working, leaving save/copy to
clipboard dialog and barely visible transparent window.

I just found out you can see the Wifi password in the system settings.
The reason I didn't find this sooner is because the Wifi settings are
very confusing.
The main problem: The connected network has two detailed views:
1. When connected to a network you can tap the arrow
A friend @ Dell told me that some (or all) systems won't blink led when
systems are sleeping, so I tried Windows 8 to see whether this problem
is unique for Ubuntu/Linux.
The result: the led won't blink for Windows 8 either (clean Win8 + VGA
driver). I think this is a design instead of a bug.
