That did the work, thanks, and even almosr immediatly. It now shows the
secondary screen with a decent hue. Thanks for spending some time with a
noob like me.
If I recall correctly I opened that setting menu when already plugged to
the tv, probably for this reason it showed just the alternative
Hello, I was using an old VGA cable I found at home. I probably wasn't
connected while reporting the bug, sorry.
But I also thought it could be an hardware fault, until I found out it can
somehow be fixed.
During my last tries I decide to retry with the second pc (which was the one
kind of fine

The process with this pc and my tv monitor (an old Sonoko) always takes alot
with Ubuntu. It takes even a little bit with Windows on the same device, but
with this distro (the only one I've ever tried, 19.04) it can even takes
minutes and even a counter intuitive setup.
