I tried both a Windows Server with NTFS and a Linux Samba server with
ext4. Obviously ext4 allows it.

now if you use sudo on cli it works. But if you run something like

I have tested this with i386 and still get the same problem. It does not
effect only x86_64.
I installed LibreOffice 3.4 and gvfs 1.9 (from oneiric) but this did not
solve anything. It's questionable whether this is a LO or gvfs bug.
I agree this problem deserves more attention. A user downloads

letters in usernames while pam-ccreds doesn't. So Nick's suggestion does
seem to solve the problem.
Also IMO common-auth pam-ccreds should be above pam_ldap. Otherwise a
user not on the network will have to wait for the timeout
Still failing in Lucid. Nick's suggestion gets rid of the authentication
error, but in my case I still get user not known to underlying
authentication module. Anyone have this working on Lucid?

Change the h's to i's so it looks like this

this one program. A C# program I wrote myself that worked fine in Gutsy

I have the same problem on a Intel Extreme Graphics 855 GM card. The
laptop worked fine in Gutsy even with compiz. With Hardy beta and
compiz is off, it works fine. The Screens and Graphics says none for
graphics driver. If I change it to i810 it won't work. If I change it
to Intel -
I fixed it on my machine. This is how, first the screens and graphics wasn't
letting me pick intel - exp... but after selecting another driver, then
selecting intel-exp it worked. Reset computer, but now everything was slow.
Compiz worked but it was slow and scrolling was very slow.
