I am still having the issue with shutdown/reboot/logout. I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 and the menu buttons still do not work. I am able to use init/shutdown -r or -h now from the console. I am using a Dell 1545 N and I loaded the KDE desktop on top of Lubuntu and changed from LXDE to KDM. Any
