I have a few partitions on my machine. I can remove them, but would
rather not. Anyone know if removing them will elivate this bug?
To be honest I don't think this will make any difference, so I wouldn't try it.
I only have the usual set of /boot, /root and /home and the system sets up a
/tmp
I've got this also - on 12.04, does the latest mountall fix it? And,
while I'm here what does triaged mean on this package?

Hi Carthik,
I am closing this bug now since there seems to be no way forward without
the logs, and you say the machine has kicked the bucket. If the same
issue recurs please open a new bug.
please do - apologies for not being of more help... thankfully all has
gone well on 3 other installs.
I was unable to reproduce the bug - and since then the machine I was
attempting the install on has kicked the bucket... might have been the
root of the problem
two fresh installs happened since though!
Cheers
