deja-dup is still silently failing to complete backups. The system
settings dialog is still cheerfully claiming the backups are working
just fine.

On starting hotot for the first time, I enter my twitter user ID in the
textbox. That takes me to a screen saying "@twitter: Access
token not found" (or similar) and a big arrow. Pressing the big arrow
makes the window go completely grey blank. I do not know how to proceed.

The workaround in 13.04 is to install the overlay-scrollbar package, but
to run the following command from the command line to disable the
unwanted behavior (for the current user):
gsettings set com.canonical.desktop.interface scrollbar-mode normal
