In Workaround staat nogal cryptisch dat je het probleem kan omzeilen door in
de Ubuntu repositories gaan te zoeken voor de volgende bestanden:
language-pack-gnome-nl_14.04+20140410_all.deb
language-pack-gnome-nl-base_14.04+20140410_all.deb
language-pack-nl_14.04+20140410_all.deb
After further investigation it seems that gdb assumes that floating-
point numbers use . as decimal mark, as these lines from c-exp.y show
else if (!got_dot *p == '.')
got_dot = 1;
but, later, the function parse_float() (in parse.c) feeds the string
into sscanf
num

They are actually different things: LUKS is unlocked at boot, while eCryptFS is
unlocked at login. In this way, the encrypted home folder is not accessible
even from root account if the user isn't logged in.
But I agree, it may be confusing.

I don't understand why this is marked as Incomplete/Invalid. Selecting the
language in Ubiquity and logging into the live system, results in Ubuntu
setting the keyboard layout to En anyway. That is all. The expected behaviour
is:
English → En keyboard layout
Español → Es keyboard layout
