I have the same problem with intrepid, i have syncmaster 793DF and kde
applies the resolution (1280x1024) only for the current session as shown

I can confirm the problem in the latest Hardy x86. If crossfade is
enabled, the sound becomes choppy instead of the more annoying
clicking/snapping/crackling. This seems to happen every time a menu is
clicked, any window is resized, any window is minimized or maximized.

I have installed final release of 7.04 on a laptop and forced r1000
driver. I get link up but I cant get a DHCP IP assigned. The DHCP server
is handing out the IP but the NIC doesnt get one assigned.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
