Good (for you) so far. :) I've tried WEP soon after this bug came about when I upgraded to Hardy beta and was not successful. I'll have a go at it again later on this evening when I'll be back home. WEP was working in Feisty (no WPA). Gutsty had all types and was the best so far as far as I go.

Michele, I have exactly the same machine as you have, same driver and, of course the very same problem. My syslog also seems a photocopy of yours. I have not so far done a clean install because everything else seems to be fairly right for a beta and this is, so far, the only badly mutilating bug.
