I think that's not the same bug and this seems more about authentication
for me. I don't get the same symptoms described on those bugs (i.e. log
and the workaround does not work). But I have also checked using other
desktop manager for comparison (lightdm) and it behaves in the same way
than gdm.

Hi, I don't really recall the reason but could be something related to
the bug appearing during ubuntu install. I agree that the change could
have being too premature, my fault.
Anyway, I don't like to leave the package filled against the generic

Any advance on this? I have very hard space constraints, old kernels are
really large for me and would be great that computer-janitor removes
them automatically.
As a suggestion for the third party packages problem, a new command line
option could be added that hardens the check for packages that
Confirmed again in natty. I have observed that the problem happens when
the executable file is located in an external mount point. It is
mounting other computer's hard disk in the local network, by sshfs.

the omnibox. In order to reproduce:
1. Press Ctrl+K while focusing the browser
2. Type some word and click enter
3. The browser should use your default search engin
