I'm seeing this doing an EFI OEM install on 16.04.4 server. I've
attached the relevant part of the install syslog.
The problem is exactly as described in the original post. It is
installing oem-config-debconf, which depends on ubiquity, which
recommends grub-pc | grub | grub-efi. As grub-efi is no

Using a Logitech M310 from a KM520 bundle kit.
When it stops working, I've been able to get it to work again by running
xev and holding the mousewheel down and cycling through several events.
Once it starts showing, it will fire many button presses. Once it starts
to appear, there will be a notice

(https://packages.debian.org/sid/mesa-vulkan-drivers) which is Mesa

Bear in mind that this bug report is only of a symptom of the real bug,
which is gnome-software hanging during an update (which it seems to do
regularly).
So doing the install and update as explained above fixes the symptom,
but not the bug.

Description of problem:
The F6/mute key on the keyboard of HP notebooks often has a built in LED
indicator to show if the sound is muted. The LED state is never toggled. It
will just retain its state, even though the audio is succesfully muted/unmuted.

I'm having issues since updating to 17.04 beta. Both wayland and x.org
are very unstable. I noticed that my kern.log includes the following

I did not. Installing that package does allow gdm to start up
correctly. Should the gdm package depend on ubuntu-gnome-default-
settings, then, since it flat doesn't work without it?

gdm fails to start due to Ubuntu customizations. Ubuntu has modified
the behavior of gnome-session such that ubuntu.session is the default.
When gdm launches gnome-session to start the greeter, this results in
gnome-session trying to launch unity instead of gnome-shell.
