Another way that I have found to (temporary) resolve this problem is to

I'm also seeing this on a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10 (64-bit) using

I only see this after suspending for a long period (hours).
Not sure if I should open a different bug as I'm using Ubuntu rather
than Xubuntu.

Invisible cursor after resume from suspend
Hey Peter, while I appreciate the logs and the report, please don't mix

focus on the missing mouse-cursor.

I would like to provide some more details about how this problem
manifests on my laptop.

the lid for a while. If the computer is woken up immediately after it goes to

Hi Simon,
just to clarify: my comments (apart from #10 where I reference the other

is all just about the missing mouse cursor. When light-locker is not
installed (removed with apt-get purge) suspend and resume work except

I did what Ian (q-labnchpad-b) suggested and replaced light-locker with

light-locker is the problem.

As I mentioned in a previous comment, I was able to eliminate the
problem on my computer by removing light-locker and replacing it with
gnome-screensaver. It is possible that light-locker triggers when the
computer wakes from resume whether locking is enabled or not.

On my ThinkPad T42 it happens only when I enter suspend state by closing

The problem seems to be independet of light-locker. I have disabled

Addition to comment #10:
I have disabled automatic screen locking in

Disabling screen locking seems to have fixed it. As an interesting
