I can confirm this issue on Xubuntu 15.10 too. Using Joost's method (of not using "New Mobile Broadband connection") seems to work sometimes but not always and that too doesn't survive reboots. I'm in the process of finding out more information/workarounds for this issue. -- You received this

I have the same problem, using a Huawei E173 under Ubuntu 15.10. I confirm that connections remain editable before reboot, when created through nm-applet. This works both for those created using 'Edit Connections' as for those created using the "New Mobile Broadband connection" menu item (menu

I have the same problem. Using Frank's method, I could connect to websites I've connected to before (DNS-cache?) but not to new websites. Using Joost's method (assuming I followed it correctly), I can edit the connection but stiill cannot connect to new websites. What worked as a workaround
