@davide Make sure you don't have the kill switch on the side of your machine cut on. That could be your issue..if the rfkill switch is on then wireless isn't going to work. I wish I could tell you something. But as mentioned before I have the exact same 5350 card

@david You probably want to check your install. I have the exact same card (id all in my Thinkpad x301) . So what happens when you load up iwlagn ? Run sudo modprobe iwlagn. Also can you try an 9.10 live CD and see if you see the same behavior, something may have gotten messed up in

@davide You are not using a Intel 5350 as from the pic the WiMAX is a 2400 .. and should say WiMax Link 5350. Ensure that the wireless card you have you can see with lspci -vvnn. Also ensure iwlagn driver is loaded, this is what the wifi card uses. You can see this by checking
