@Stephane That doesn't add up, the spurious change events were addressed in multipath-tools as of 0.4.8-14ubuntu10.1, the version you're quoted doesn't include the ubuntu revision so I don't know what version you're actually running. That work around is no longer necessary. It sounds you

I see this issue consistently with both Jaunty and Karmic installs when running iscsi + multipathd + lvm2 From other searches and mailing lists, the fix that seems to fix the issue the most is by adjusting one of either /lib/udev/rules.d/85-lvm2.rules or /lib/udev/rules.d/95-multipath.rules
