I have the same problem both with dapper and edgy i hope it will be solved
automaticly so the newbies don't run into problems and reboot to Windows...

again, as 'fix commited' means the bug was already fixed (though not

That is not what I mean. Printing more than one page per sheet is not
the same as double-sided printing. What I would like is a GUI that helps
you easily print documents double sided. I.e. it first prints all odd
pages, then prompts you to put the stack of paper back into the printer
with pictures

I have a similar problem with a fully patched clean install of Dapper. I
have 5 nfs v3 partions and 1 smbfs share in /etc/fstab that always mount
after a reboot but /etc/mtab usually only shows one of the remote file
systems. Sometimes it is one of the nfs shares and sometimes it is the
smbfs

I haven't removed my card yet, so that the Sun FFB is used, so can't

After writing edgy-desktop-i386.iso to CD (two for good measure, same
amount of retries), I boot the CD, select to start/install Ubuntu, also

and then repluged everything and then tryed to add a local printer and
it was on the list...I know it wasnt connected wrong because it worked

Well, I'll be glad if this gets fixed till Edgy comes out in November, so I
won't have to think about disabling the composite extension. The other
possibility would be to wait till the 8.5 version of the adobe flashplugin for
linux gets released or was it 9 (whatever). Then we can hope, firefox
The webinterface didn't detect it automatically, but after adding it
manually through that, it seems to print fine, but no ink ends up on the
paper, although the ink cartridge is not empty. I think my printer may
be broken :-(
