Muse runs fine setuid
This is not an option, isnt it considered ucool to run big beasts like Muse
setuid??
Plus: as I said, muse runs like a charm if max-user-freq can be tweaked to
1024, I now use a rt-kernel for edgy from ubuntumusique, that is more or less

On my laptop in Edgy, I can not find any sleep button setting. Only in
gconf-editor I can see that sleep_button_action is set to nothing. Sleep
is enabled in /etc/default/acpi-support. Sleep from the menu works.

The -f option, upon looking at the source, appears that it may do what
needs to be done. The manpage for mandb(8) states that it's only for
the use of man(1) when it discovers an out-of-date page. I am unable to

I have just updated my Dapper to KDE 3.5.5 wich is announced to support sudo in
kdesu.
Kde su does not hang anymore, but it asks for password everytime (it does not
keep sudo time)

Ahh, but that breaks the icons used in the panel
system/preferences/powermanagement for example - the 22x22 icons are
chosen and upscaled to 24x24. Probably what has happened is there is a
bug in the menu code, and the index file has been bodged to fix the
menus.

I reopen, because it doesn't work for me in Edgy either (epiphany
2.16.1).
Perhaps I wasn't clear with my description, so I attach screenshots of
Bookmarks editor to show what's the problem.
There are four bookmarks under portale topic. Three of them (BBC,

well... thats not a big deal
So this is a workable solution to this problem at the moment (though i'm
kind of curious what caused the e1000 module to suddenly start making the
machine crash when suspending, and why that problem hasn't been fixed)
